Lots of homeless people on the streets some who appeared to have drug or alcahol induced psychosis but I never felt threatened by them.… The best part of staying here is the location which is central and the deduce bus stops are very close and you can easily walk to see the Belagio water fountains which start at 19.00 every night. To buy a take away coffee is around eight dollars but some rooms come with a coffee maker.Theres a CV shop around 6 mins walk away and they sell everything the shops in flamingo are really really expensive. It's around ten dollars for a coke around the pool and you can't take your own food and only one small bottle of unopened water, towels are free.They offer massages in the foyer starting from twenty dollars and I had a shoulder and neck one which was well worth the twenty dollars.

The go pool is more for the young who appear to stand around the pool having their Instagram moments drinks in hand while the other pool is small but OK with plenty of free beds if you get there early enough. The flamingo itself is impressive and huge the gardens beautiful. I have to say from other reviews and our own experience I think it's pot luck what rooms you get when you book unless it's a suite. We complained the next day and was told to come back later and when we did got a free up grade with a high roller view but no fridge which we had paid for. We booked three newly renovated rooms for our family and friends trip, the room we got was on the 4th floor and stunk of sewage, at this point we had been traveling for 23 hours and made the descion to complain in the morning as it was around 1am vegas time.
